The Mystery of Edwin Drood
February 13-March 8
A hilarious, interactive whodunnit mystery musical that asks the audience to enter the action and become the ultimate detectives. Based on Charles Dickens' final unfinished novel, everyone on stage is a suspect in the murder of young and charming Edwin Drood. Is it John Jasper, Edwin's protective and maniacal uncle? Rosa Bud, his reluctant betrothed? The debauched Princess Puffer? Or someone else even more dastardly and villainous? The audience chooses the ending each performance!

Aristocats KIDS

Based on the beloved Disney animated film, and featuring a jazzy, upbeat score, Disney’s The Aristocats KIDS is a non-stop thrill ride of feline fun, complete with unbelievable twists and turns. In the heart of Paris, a kind and eccentric millionairess wills her entire estate to Duchess, her high-society cat, and her three little kittens. Laughs and adventure ensue as the greedy, bumbling butler pulls off the ultimate catnap caper. Now it's up to the rough-and-tumble alley cat, Thomas O'Malley, and his band of swingin' jazz cats to save the day.

On the last Tuesday of every month, Stageworks hosts a local artist showcase for Houston performers. The theme is different each month!
February’s showcase, "Love...Actually?" features romance chaos, breakups glow-ups, & situationships in song, dance, spoken word, and more! Prepare for a night of feels. All of them!

ACADEMY WINS AWARD
We are so proud of our Academy students and their performance at the 2026 Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta! Out of over 6,000+ musical theatre students and 120+ troupes from across 9 countries, this incredible group of Stageworks students were honored with the "Excellence in Music" award for their musicality, teamwork, and commitment to storytelling in their performance of "Something Rotten! JR."
