AUDITIONS
Members of our community have the unique opportunity to learn more about theatre production and hone their talents in a welcoming and inclusive community of theatre-lovers. Stageworks Theatre invites any interested member of our community to audition as we seek to engage diverse and energetic volunteers that comprise many shapes, sizes, colors, genders and ages. Our productions are cast by an open audition and callback process.
The Odd Couple - Female Edition

Unger and Madison are at it again!
Florence Unger and Olive Madison, that is! Neil Simon gives us a refreshing take on his well-known work, originally made popular by the film starring Jack Lemon and Walter Matthau. The story line loved by millions remains, but the Female Odd Couple follows unlikely roommates, neurotic neat freak Florence Unger, and unkept, messy Olive Madison, as they attempt to inhabit the same apartment without killing each other. Poker is replaced with trivial pursuit, the Pigeon sisters replaced by the Costazuela brothers, but the laugh a minute dialogue remains!

Not all actors will be called to all rehearsals.
Conflicts will be worked around when possible.

AUDITION INFORMATION

March 1st, 10am-1pm.

Open to actors 18 and older.

Actors interested in auditioning should prepare a 2-minute comedic monologue. Some actors may be asked to also do a cold read from the script after performing their monologue.

While in-person auditions are preferred, video auditions will be accepted. In-person callbacks may be required.

Auditions are open to the community and parts may be cast with actors of any ethnicity.
